DR. TAHER MISTRY

Introduction

Dr Taher is an accomplished Maxillofacial Surgeon, graduated from MGM Hospital, Mumbai. After his master's degree, he has completed a clinical fellowship in Orthognathic and Facial Plastic Surgery from the Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI). He has been awarded AOCMF Travelling Fellowship in Craniofacial Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery from the renowned Chang-Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan. He specializes in treating the functional and aesthetic deformities of the head, face and neck, which would include birth defects like craniosynostosis, facial clefts, etc., traumatic injuries & post traumatic defects and post cancer resection deformities. He has special interest in treating Obstructive Sleep Apnea and related upper airway problems.

At present he is practicing as an Honorary Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon at Saifee Hospital & Masina Hospital, Mumbai He is also attached with Operation Smile International as a cleft surgeon.
