DR. ABBAS MISTRY

Introduction

Dr Abbas Mistry is an accomplished Plastic Surgeon, having graduated from the famed K.E.M Hospital and Seth G.S Medical College, Mumbai. He passed his M.S. (General Surgery) in 1986 and M.Ch. (Plastic Surgery) in 1990, and subsequently continued working as a lecturer till 1993. During his tenure at the K.E.M. Hospital, he worked with Dr. K.S. Goleria and Dr. S.R. Tambwekar, both pioneers in the field of Craniofacial surgery and Microsurgery respectively. Since 1993 he is in private practice.

He is a faculty member at ETHICON Institute of Surgical Education, a division Johnson & Johnson for Microsurgery. He was awarded TRAVELLING FELLOWSHIP by the Association of Plastic Surgeon of India-The National Fellowship for the year 1992. He has been the President of Maharashtra Association of Plastic Surgeons from the year 2018 to 2020. At present he is Head of Department of Reconstructive and Plastic surgery in Saifee Hospital.
